My first online shopping experience...

How do you feel about online shopping for clothes/bags/shoes? I prefer to touch and try the things before I buy, that is why I never buy any of these things online before. Two weeks ago, I came across a site which sells really nice clothes. After clicking thru their site, I decided to buy 2. Oh yes, I bought 2, should have just buy 1 first lar..

The site provides measurements for shoulder, bust and etc but I decided to play safe and buy clothes that is in free size. Few days later, I received my clothes! Guess what? Both clothes I bought were in free size but one appears to be too small for me and the other one appears to be super big for me. How come free size can be so different??

~sigh...After this shopping experience, I decided not to buy any clothes online anymore... have you tried online shopping for clothes before? How's ur experience?

How many wallet/purse you carry with you?

There's one time I went out shopping with this friend of mine, S. It's fun to shop with her as our taste is quite similar. After we shopped at a few shops, I noticed something. When we were at the cashier, she took out a different wallet/purse to pay every time. So far I can see she has 2 wallets and 1 purse.

I asked her how many wallet/purse she brings and she told me she normally will bring 2 wallets and a purse. She got a big wallet which has all the big notes, then another smaller wallet to carry her cards and some cash, then the small purse is for small cash and coins.

Wuahahahaha...funny lar.. the most i see is 1 wallet 1 purse, but she got 3! What about you? How many wallet/purse you carry with you? For me? I only carry one BIG wallet. hehe..

Ikea member sales - 24 July, one day ONLY!!

I don't know why, I have a thing with Ikea. I love Ikea and I love the Ikea smell. hehe, ya ya i know i'm kind of weird. I will feel like going to ikea if I have not been there at least once a month. No no, don't get me wrong, I don't like ALL the things in ikea, in fact, I feel that some of the things in ikea are not worth to buy, especially the furnitures.

If furnitures not worth to buy, then what to buy? I like those small small creative stuff in Ikea. I think their designers are really good in coming out all these things.

Well, if you like ikea as much as I do, then this is a good news for you. Ikea is having sales again.. and their member sales are on the 24th of July, ONE DAY only. So .. take leave to go shopping la!!!!!

How to buy things worth RM 357.70 with just paying RM 77.70!!

I wanted to buy the Braun toothbrush long long time ago but I always feel that RM 200++ for a toothbrush (ya, although it's automatic) is kind of expensive! Finally, I managed to come up with a brilliant idea where I can get the toothbrush without paying for it. hehe, yes, without paying, don't worry, i'm not going to steal it!!

So how am I going to get it without paying it? First, I used my Bonuslink points to redeem the Parkson vouchers, so with the points I have, i'm entitled for RM 110 Parkson voucher, cool! Then, I found out that I can also redeem Parkson vouchers with Maybank treatpoints (points collected from Maybank credit card), and with the points i have, I can get Rm 150 Parkson vouchers. Woo-hoo.. oh ya, both bonuslink and maybank treatpoints can redeem on the spot at the Parkson customer service counter.

With Bonuslink, I redeem 1 Rm 50 parkson voucher and 6 RM 10 parkson voucher (approx 10K points) and with Maybank credit card, I got myself 3 RM 50 Parkson vouchers (approx 24K points). A total of RM 260 cash vouchers!! Let's go shopping!! yay!!

Saves Fuel Up to 28%? Sure or not??

Well, it's about petrol again. Before the petrol increased from RM 1.92 to RM 2.7, my aunt gave me a few bottles of Fuel Enhancer. She bought it from Cosway and there's a promotion at that time, something like buy one gets one free. You know, woman, when got these kind of things, they will tend to buy more.. so, she gave me a few bottles to try. Free wor, why not? hehe.. some more last time i tried the Nulon - Performance Engine Treatment from Cosway and I felt it's really good. So i guess this will really help in saving petrol!

Remove the cap from the long neck measuring chamber,
squeeze gently, raising it to the desire dosage
(1ml to 5L of fuel) .

Pour this to the fuel tank
before you go pump petrol.

So does this thing really works? Well, NOPE it doesn't work!! it doesn't help at all!! In fact, I can't believed that this doesn't work (at least should help a little bit mar.., it says there help to save petrol by 28% wor) and i tried twice before i post this post!! I tried it on both auto and manual cars, adding this is like never add anything before. Just like normal!!

Well, i guess, the performance engine treatment work doesn't means the fuel enhancer work as well. Maybe i have too high hopes. So have you tried this before? Does this work for you?

You are NOT allowed to buy Smart Tag if you don't buy touch n go!!

I always wanted to get myself a Smart Tag cos I need to pass the toll everyday but trust me, it's really not easy to get. I remembered there's one time I travel from KL to Kedah, I stopped at each and every toll tried to buy a Smart Tag but each and every one also no stock!! got money also hard to buy!!

I finally gave up searching for Smart Tag since then until last week. The toll that I passed everyday suddenly reduced a cash lane and increased a smart tag lane. Can you imagine? It really affect the cash and the touch n go lane. Why? Well, when cash too jam, ppl will go buy touch n go lor, so affect those original touch n go user like me!! Super super jam every morning and every evening!!

That is why I finally go get this after 2 weeks stuck in the jam every morning!! FL helped me to buy this when he was at Subang. He told me he doesn't understand why they got such rule, what rule?

We are NOT allowed to buy the smart tag alone, we HAVE to buy the touch n go as well. So what happened if we already got touch n go? You HAVE TO reload at least RM 50, else you are not allowed to buy!! Can we pay credit card? Yes, only when you reload RM 100 on your touch n go then only you can pay by credit card!! What kind of rule is that? FL was so geram when he told me he was forced to reload RM 50 on his touch n go just because he wants to buy this smart tag. wuahahahaha.. really, how come they got such rule?

Hey, sorry for the late updates. I was pretty busy.. busy with what? Well, wrapping my newly bought books. haha, ya, that's right. I was busy wrapping those books i bought from the bookfest. So how's the bookfest? It's amazing!!

You guys know I was pretty excited about the bookfest right? I wanted to go early on Saturday but somehow I only managed to go at about 4pm. Well, since it'll open till 10pm, i still got time!! I thought I can reached there before 5 but it was so jam!!

I was kind of surprised when I stepped into the hall. By right they should lead us to hall 1 first right? but somehow we were in hall 5. hall 5 are all Popular's Book Store's stuff, i'm not interested in Popular's books, why? you can get books from Popular all the time, so i'm not going to buy from Popular this time.

If you are looking for cheap books, you should look for china books, if you wish to get some good quality books, taiwan books are you choice. I decided to go straight to hall 1 where i can get china books. Therefore, I went from hall 5 to hall 1. I can see that the bookfest is getting smaller, the first year, very big, second year, a bit smaller, this year is the smallest!!

But then again, small is not a problem. I manged to find a lot of books, a lot of books with amazing price!! Want to see how many books I bought? okie, let me show you..

If you have kids, you really should bring ur kids to this bookfest as there will be a lot of books for them. If you like cooking, you should also go to this bookfest as there are tonnes of recipe books there!! if you likes book, then you should should should go!!! yes, trust me, really a lot!! In other words, you should go no matter what. hehe..

The Biggest Bookfest in Southeast Asia (海外华文书市) 24/5-1/6/2008

Remember I post about the biggest bookfest in Southeast asia last year, about the books I bought on that bookfest? It's back!! HooRAY!!!!!

I was just telling FL that I've finished all the books I bought last year, in fact some of the books I've already read twice!! I've run out of books to read!! and then I got the news that the bookfest is coming soon. OMG, can you imagine how thrilled I am when I heard this news?

As usual, it will be at the KL Conventon Centre, 24th May to 1st June 2008, from 10am - 10pm. With the admission RM 2 per ticket (FREE admission for students 18 years & below and senior citizen 60 years & above), we will be able to see all the latest books published in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and United Kingdom. I can't wait to go.. can't wait.. can't wait....

Treat your car engine a little something b4 it make noise!!

This is actually the second time I apply this Nulon - Performance Engine Treatment to my car engine. The first time was during the Chinese New Year. Normally before the CNY, I will get my car serviced and checked, to make sure everything is alright. When I'm back to my hometown, my brother asked me did I just service my car as he wanted me to try something. According to him, pour this engine treatment oil every time after we changed the engine oil, is very good especially for old cars. (ok, my car 5 yrs old d, so consider old also lar..) Old cars, especially auto, if you pressed the break, you will feel your car shaking/trembling. So this will helped to reduce that and at the same time the car will be more powerful. Serious? I don't know, let's see.

I wasn't really into this until i drove back few days later. I feel my car really more powerful, how i know that? well, when i overtake cars i know lar. hehe.. and when i pressed the break, there's no shaking/trembling. Wow, that's really cool. And guess what, it helped me to save petrol too. No kidding, not a lot, i can drive more 40km like that. Cool right? That is when I called back my brother to ask him where to get this engine oil and how much..

Well, i'm not a cosway member, luckily my aunt know someone who is a cosway member. So we used that membership to get this member price. Not sure how much is a non member price..I just changed the engine oil yesterday so it's time for me to pour another bottle into the engine oil.

I don't care about all this, what i really feel is that my car got more powerful, saves petrol a little bit and no more shaking and trembling. That is why I go buy lor. So if you feel your car not very powerful already, maybe try this lar. It's not too expensive also mar, RM20+ can used up to several months, after u changed ur engine oil.

PIKOM PC Fair ~ 11-13 Apr 2008

The very last pc fair we visited was on last year december, we went there to get the Panasonic Lumix FX 33 digital camera. This time, we decided to visit the PIKOM PC Fair to get ourselves a dvd writer. Now only buy dvd writer? hehe yalor.. :p We reached there at about 6pm on Sunday. Hopefully can get something cheap on the last day of the pc fair.

There was quite a lot of ppl, not say very very packed lar, but still a lot of ppl. There are altogether 5 halls. Hall 1 mostly notebooks, Hall 2 are all audios/speakers, Hall 3, 4 and 5, you can get all kinds of things here. That is why these 3 halls were very packed!!

We were there about 1 and a half hour, saw a lot of new things (really outdated lar, everything also seems so new. hehe..) and within that 1 and a half hour.. we bought these..

LG dvd writer ~RM 86, Earphone ~ RM 22, 4G pen drive ~ RM 48, 20 pcs dvd-r ~ RM 15 and 2 pcs of cdrw ~ RM8 (for my car cd player). Cin cin cai cai.. RM 179 gone.. hehe.

My very first Vacuum Cleaner!!

I never thought of getting a vacuum cleaner until i bought a small little carpet that i placed in my living room. I can't use a broom to clean my carpet, i need a vacuum cleaner. That is when I started to feel I need one.

I wanted to buy a cheap one, but the cheapest i can find also need RM100++ and these RM100+ vacuum cleaner are not bag-less. There's a paper bag inside, after u finished vacuum, you need to cut open the paper bag, throw all the rubbish out and sealed it to reuse. The paper bag is very small, you can probably cut for 3 times and you will need a new one. One paper bag = Rm12. So it's really not worth it in the long run. Therefore i decided to invest a little bit more to get a bag-less vacuum cleaner.

So finally, I bought this at Jusco, it's small, it's cute and it's powerful. Now i know how come ppl choose to use vacuum cleaner instead of broom. Well, trust me, vacuum cleaner is really much more CLEANER!! but ar, it takes more time to clean lor.. sure got pros and cons lar..

So will I stop using broom? of cos NOT!! I'm not those 'tam san mong gao' punya ppl lar.. Oh ya, if you don't know what i mean by bag-less, let me show you..

BBQ Steamboat pot?

Recently I was looking for a electrical bbq steamboat pot. At first I thought it would be easy to find, but I was wrong. I went to Jusco, didn't see any. Parkson, Metrojaya, Tesco, all also don't have. Strange lar, nobody do steamboat at home one meh? So hard to find one?

Finally few days ago, I saw ONE at Giant. Only one brand, and I only saw ONE, which is the display set. Few days later, I saw the same brand same model at Carrefour. and there's only one brand, 2 units left.

Strange strange strange..ppl prefer to eat out? So hard to find one?
