The difference between tarik and non tarik...

I heard this from the radio this morning while I was on my way to work. The radio DJs were arguing about this, some said teh and teh tarik is the same, and some said it's not the same.

What I think? I say it's NOT the same and it taste different! Well, tarik and non tarik does make a difference, tarik ones are well mixed, the tea with the condensed milk are well mixed during the tarik process and thus it's smoother and tastier. That is why I always ordered nescafe tarik rather than nescafe, cos nescafe tarik taste better than nescafe!!

Don't believe me? Go try it out yourself!! Order two cups, one tarik and one without, hahahahahaah...

i do agree .. tarik-ed teh always bring a sort of 'fluffy texture' to it .. maybe its the foam or better aeration .. i'm not too sure but it does taste better!

Teh and teh tarik SHOULD BE distinctive between one another.

But got one Chinese aunty here, whenever I order "teh panas", she will end up telling her staff to make "teh tarik". And then when I see the staff make the drink, they don't tarik oso. Wth! Very confusing la that aunty! Nowadays, I go there yam char, I straight away ask for "teh tarik". O_o

hahaha, it happened to me also lar.. i went to this chinese coffeeshop, the person is wearing the apron with the word "ask for nescafe tarik", then when i ordered nescafe tarik, it turned out to be non tarik... so i guess they don't know the difference between tarik and non tarik lar..
