The Amazing Silk Quilt?
FL's mum bought a silk quilt (or blanket, not sure, it doesn't really looks like a quilt but it's not thick enough to be a blanket!!) for us when she travel to shanghai few months ago. According to her, the person that sold this to her told her that the quilt is very good. When the weather is hot, the quilt will make you feel cool, and when the weather is cold, you will feel warm. WOW, how amazing.. there she goes, bought the quilt for RM 200.
And yes, this is how the sales person told everyone that travels to shanghai, all my friends and relatives that travel to shanghai, all coming back telling me the exact same thing and yes they all bought SILK products too, silk pillow, silk blanket, silk quilt ...
When i opened up the quilt, i found the quality is indeed not very good, at least it's not worth for RM200. The quilt cover is made of those rough cloth, and the silk, wow, it's really very thin, approx 1mm only, and there's so many holes in between. Anyway, i started to sleep on it hoping that it really will makes me feel cool when the weather is hot and vice versa.
At first i don't feel anything, everything is just like normal, but recently the weather is REALLY very hot and i found that i am actually sweating when i was sleeping in an air con room!! Sweating when the air con is on and the temperature is 20 degree?
This is really abnormal, i'm a person that very afraid of cold and i cannot believe that i'm actually sweating in an air con room while sleeping. This is when i started to suspect something is wrong with the SILK QUILT!!
So yesterday i decided not to sleep on the quilt to prove that my suspicion is right and guess what, the SILK QUILT is the caused!!! It's actually makes you feel warmer if the weather is hot and makes you feel cold when the weather is cold!! OMG, it's totally the opposite from what they heard from the sales person!!!
For those that is planning a trip to shanghai, if you happened to meet this sales person, remember to ask him to prove to you before you buy.

I might going to Shanghai next month for business trip. I dont know i got time to visit Shanghai or not. Do you know any place i must go to visit at Shanghai?
i never been to shanghai, so no comments on where to go. But if u did go to this shop that sells silk stuff, remember to ask them wor!! ehe..
