Cigarette increase 60-80 cents? What's the point?

Gov annouced cigarette price increased 60 to 80 cents per packet, to smokers, they'll say, 'WHAT!! increase again?', but to me, i'll say, "WHAT!! increase so little only?" i was once told by an ex colleague, she said, even gov increase a few dollars, they (smokers) will still smoke!! that little price increase will probably stopped teenagers from smoking ONLY!

Well, at first, i don't feel anything about smoking, i mean i dislike ppl who smoke, but as long as you don't smoke near me then it's ok. But nowadays i can feel like smoke is everywhere, boss smokes in the office, go lunch ppl sitting beside, behind or in front of you all smoking, even in my own apartment, i can smell the smoke, coming from downstairs (i think they are smoking at the balcony area)!!

This really pissed me off!! You guys doesn't mind having cancer is your problem, but i do want my body to be healthy. Smelling the 2nd hand smoke is even worst than the person who smokes.

I think the government should do more instead of just increase tiny bit on the cigarette price, they can consider the following:-
1. Ban ppl from smoking in public, air-con or non air-con rooms.
2. Ppl who smoke pay more income tax. wuahahahahahaha...
3.If there's ppl complaint smelling the 2nd hand smoke from you, you will go to jail. wuahahahaha...
Ya i know i'm a bit crazy, but i seriously VERY dislike ppl smoking and spreading the unhealthy 2nd smoke around. Probably they should swallow the smoke instead of blowing it out to harm other ppl!! I hope there will be this day where one cigarette costs RM 50!!

I don't smoke but I do hope that the price for cigarette will keep going up until it become a luxury product. Then, majority smokers will quit smoking.
