Corelle Plum Dinner Set

It was a love at first sight when i saw this Corelle Plum Dinner Set at Parkson few months ago. I was totally attracted to it UNTIL, i saw the PRICE!!! One single plate costs more than RM50??? WOW, how to buy? I saw in a website they are selling this 20 pc Dinner Set for RM600++!!!

FL then told me his brother once told him, in US, corelle are selling very cheap, erm, not very lar, but if compared to malaysia's price, it's definitely very much cheaper. When i heard this my 'sam nyok nyok' (direct translation - heart move move), hehe, and when i got the news that his brother is coming back next month, i'm even more happy.

So now i'm hoping his brother can find this in US (cos i only found this in malaysia's websites, dono why..) and i hope the price is cheap also, preferably less than USD 100 (i know i'm dreaming here... :p), too expensive also cannot afford leh...

pray hard..

I just bought 3 sets of Corelle Plum in Langkawi last August. A set consists of 4 dinner plates, 4 side plates, 4 cups & plates, 4 serving bowl with a free of rice oval plate cost RM329. It will cost you more if you buy loose item.

I am thinking of buying another 2 sets of the same pattern and have been searching in the internet ever since. I couldn´t find the same price range.

Btw, I am living in Europe, so it will take a while for me to fly back to visit Langkawi.

Barsa, I don´t know about the chip resistance but so far so good.I use Corelle before. The cups (Plum pattern) were made in Japan and ´heavier´ than the rest which were made in US. It might answer your question Joyce.. about the broken mug..he.he.he..

Hi, I just got back from S'pore and did some shopping at Orchard Rod. Guess what - a 16 piece plum set is sold at only S $ 109, some patterns even at S $ 99 so if we convert it'd be around RM 243 - RM 268. Very very cheap mahhhh. The last time I bought it was like RM 300 - 400 per st.
