Please hold while we will attend to you shortly.

Sounds familiar? Ya, you probably will hear this whenever you call the customer service of banks/credit cards.

I called maybank customer service just now, wanna asked about some transactions that appeared on my credit card statement.

I pressed 2 for english, pressed 3 for credit card, pressed 02 for credit card and after that, I kept hearing 'Please hold while we will attend to you shortly' for 15 minutes!! So many ppl called customer service at night one meh? it makes me wonder...

they only got one person answering all the incoming calls? or nobody wanna answer our phone calls? I put down the phone and called again, only managed to get someone to talk to me after 10 minutes...

~sigh...waste money ...

It's normal for Maybank call centre, The best time to call is 7am-9am, most of the ppl still rushing to office no time call yet. But the call chgers will b expensive a bit. if u wait too long at nite time also chg what!!

Ideally is change ur credit card to Citibank, HSBC, OCBC. The best services in town, u may a doubt abt repayment.. IBG can solve everythg..

Don't be offended,,the solution to solve that problem, choose other bank credit card eg PB,HLB etc and transfer the balance with interest free may be 12 mths repayment. It will save a lot of % chg.. Most important thing is stop using the card or pay as u use.

Friendly opinion only.:)
